Here at Scottish Borders Sporting we are delighted to offer some of the most highly scented, wonderful ground for Gun Dog Training!

Groups are most welcome to book our 1600 acre estate, for all types of training work and scenarios.

Come as a team and run your training days yourselves, or we can recommend trainers to work with you (early bookings higfhly recommended, as our great Trainers get booked up very early).

We will be on hand to assist, mark, throw dummies, set off auto launchers, set blinds etc.

We also offer:

Accommodation on site in a lovely dog friendly hotel or 4 self catering holiday cottages (early bookings highly recommended).

Book for 1 or 2 days or several as a training holiday!

Get you and your dog Test ready – Feb – April

Get you and your dog Trial ready – March – May

Retriever Training – with Sarah Miles

Spaniel Training – with Holly Mallaborne

Simulated Walked Up Days – (Retriever and Spaniel)

Simulated Driven Days – (Retriever and Spaniel)

Water Training Days – (Retriever or Spaniel)

During the Game Season:

Field Trials Training on game birds, possibility of hares (no rabbits)

Book your own group day or add yourself to one of our DIY days

Lots of new and exciting group training as individuals and couples – while one partner is training, the other can participate as the walking gun (if experienced) on live game (during the season Oct – Jan)
