Learning to shoot Air Rifles, is not only great fun for Children (from 10 years), but also instills discipline and respect. The bigger Kids also love it!

All Air rifles are scoped, which gives you a great aim on the targets and we do have many targets for you to choose from.

The targets are set at various distances on range at 20, 30, 40, and 50 metres, to test your sniper skills!

You will be taught safety, rifle control off and on range, how to load, take aim and squeeze off the shot. We will check your rifle’s zero, so that it groups nicely for you and under supervision, you can shoot at targets from various distances.

At the end, everyone finishes with a competiton and you can keep your target!

Rifle Shooting Scotland – Centre and Rim Fire Calibre

Adults Only

Instruction on safety, rifle competency off and on range, safe background check, how to load the bolt action, get a good lean, take aim and squeeze off the shot. We will check your rifle’s zero, so that it groups nicely for you and under supervision, you can shoot at targets from various distances.

Shots can be taken from the seated bench position, prone (lying down) and standing off sticks.

Our Rifle calibres range from:

.22 rimfire

.17 hmr

.22-250 centrefire

.243 centrefire

Targets will be at varying distances, starting at 25 metres and on to 50, 75 and 100 metres.

To finish, you will get the opportunity to try for the long distance 125 metre GONG shot challenge!
